A Letter to Mothers

Dear Mothers,

I know it is hard, but you keep going.

I know you’re tired, but you keep going.

I know you’re stressed, but you keep going.

No matter how old they are, you keep going.

You may fight and argue, but you’re still there.

You may need a break, but you’re still there.

You may not know what to do, but you’re still there.

No matter what the situation, you're still there.

It is okay to need a break, it doesn’t mean you love them any less. So, take the break, for it is well deserved and you cannot give to your children if there is nothing left to give. Make sure to take care of yourself, it isn’t selfish.

Ever been so stressed about things that you snap at your child when you didn’t mean to? Don’t dwell on it, apologize and move on. Easier said than done, I know. But you’re entitled to have bad days, just as your children have bad days and snap at you.

Your children don’t expect you to be perfect, but then again maybe they already think you are. While you’re trying so hard to be the “perfect mother”, you might overlook the fact that your children already see you as perfect. For the fact that you have bad days, but are still for them and are always by their side. You show them the real you, and they love that.

You are doing a fantastic job, keep it up!

From,

Another Mother
