Children are naturally curious about animals. From towering elephants to playful gorillas, wildlife sparks imagination, wonder, and a desire to learn more about the world God created. That’s exactly what inspired Fluffies in the Wild. A fun, educational adventure designed to help kids explore wildlife through storytelling, creativity, and discovery.
Whether your child loves animals, enjoys animated shows, or learns best through hands-on activities, Fluffies in the Wild brings learning to life in an exciting and meaningful way.
What Is Fluffies in the Wild?
Fluffies in the Wild started as an animated series created especially for kids ages 8–12 who are fascinated by wildlife and adventure. It was named by my then, 6 year old niece, Natalya. It then turned into a book series, with our first book, Fluffies in the Wild: African Animals, children journey across Africa while learning about incredible animals such as:
🐘 Elephants — gentle giants with strong family bonds
🦏 Rhinos — powerful animals that need protection
🦍 Gorillas — intelligent creatures that live in close-knit groups
The goal is simple: make learning about animals fun, memorable, and meaningful.
Kids don’t just hear facts, they experience the animals’ world through story, imagination, and visual learning.

Why Teaching Kids About Animals Matters
Learning about animals does more than teach science facts. It helps children:
✅ Develop empathy for living creatures
✅ Understand ecosystems and habitats
✅ Build curiosity about different parts of the world
✅ Learn the importance of conservation and stewardship
When kids connect emotionally with animals, they are more likely to care about protecting wildlife and the environment as they grow.
The Animated Show
The Fluffies in the Wild animated show expands the adventure beyond the page.
Each episode combines:
Educational storytelling
Animal facts woven into the narrative
Humor and heart
Kid-friendly learning moments
Visual storytelling helps reinforce what children read, making it ideal for both readers and visual learners.
Parents often find the show becomes a starting point for conversations about nature, geography, and caring for God’s creation.

🎨 Activities for Kids: Bring the Wild Home!
Here are some fun, easy activities families can do after reading or watching Fluffies in the Wild.
🐾 1. Animal Habitat Builder
What you need:
Paper or cardboard
Crayons or markers
Craft supplies (cotton balls, leaves, sand, etc.)
Activity: Ask kids to create a habitat for their favorite African animal. Where does it sleep? What does it eat? Who are its neighbors?
👉 Bonus learning: Talk about how animals depend on their environment to survive.
🎭 2. Act Like an Animal Game
Have kids move like different animals:
Elephant stomp
Gorilla walk
Rhino charge (slow and safe!)
This helps younger learners connect movement with learning and keeps energy high.
🗺️ 3. Africa Map Adventure
Print or draw a map of Africa and let kids:
Place animals where they live
Color different habitats
Learn country names
This builds geography skills alongside animal education.
✏️ 4. Create Your Own “Fluffy” Character
Encourage kids to invent their own animal character:
What animal are they?
What special skills do they have?
What adventure would they go on?
This activity strengthens creativity and storytelling skills.
Learning Through Storytelling
Stories are one of the most powerful ways children learn. When education is wrapped in adventure and imagination, kids don’t feel like they’re studying — they feel like they’re exploring.
Fluffies in the Wild was created to help children:

Grow in curiosity
Develop compassion for nature
Discover the joy of learning through stories
